RESIDENTIAL development



Spread over 370 500 square meter, this residential project is located on a peninsula of Superior Lake, nearby the north hillside of Mont-Tremblant. Carried out in three phases, Fraternité-sur-Lac represents a brilliant fusion of the luxury properties and the picturesque landscape of this region.

Scope of work 

  •  Drainage
  • Connection to existing or new service
  • Residential planning for single and multiple family houses
  • Planning of the principal road as well as the access to the residences
  • Deviation and planning of a provincial road
  • Storm water sewer and treatment system in accordance to high performance criterias
  • Advanced tertiary sanitary community treatment system for more than 175 residential and commercial units
  • Groundwater caption system combined to a potable water tank and a disinfection and pH stabilization system

Features and challenges

The major constraint of this project is represented by the integration of the project in the community by minimizing the deforestation and the impacts on environmental elements such as streams, the existing drainage and the water quality of the lake. It is with its experience, knowledge of the topographic peculiarities of the region as well as its perpetual environmental protection that the team met this challenge brilliantly. The project benefited from a federal and provincial subsidy as well as from a loan by-law for the municipal part of the village. Our team had to supply the administrative documents to support the municipality in this process. The schedule of the municipal infrastructures had to be met to benefit from the subsidy.
